The Varsity Boys Basketball season is officially underway. After opening up the season December 5 with a 59-48 win at home against Plymouth Christian Academy, the Blackhawks were tested in their second game of the season, losing 70-44 to Cass Tech.
“I think the team is in a good position looking forward into the season. We have plenty of key divisional games coming up where we will get a chance to show that our program should be viewed as one of the best in the area,” said junior Ari Singer.
Looking forward, the 1-1 Blackhawks face Birmingham Groves at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 14 in search of improving to a winning record on the season.
