Welcome to the official virtual home of The Hawkeye, the award-winning student newspaper of Bloomfield Hills High School (BHHS).

Our Goal

As the student news publication for BHHS, The Hawkeye‘s central goal is to inform, engage, and connect our diverse community. We strive to:

• Provide accurate and timely news about our school, district, and the surrounding Bloomfield Hills community.

• Offer a public forum for students to share their voices, perspectives, and opinions on issues that matter.

• Serve as a vital link between students, families, staff, and community members.

• Provide easy viewing of the BHSTV News Daily Announcements

The Hawkeye staff is committed to journalistic excellence. We are proud members of the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) and have been the recipients of multiple Spartan Awards and individual awards through the organization.

The opinions expressed in any publication of The Hawkeye and its virtual counterpart, BHHSToday.org are those of the student writers and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of BHHS, BHHS staff, faculty, or administration at-large.
