30, flirty, and thriving
Adele’s long-awaited album is set to drop on November 19
If there is one undeniable fact that is agreed on in today’s world, it is that Adele is universally loved. Not only does she have an incredible and unique voice, but she has an authentic, adoring personality. She is a treasure that unfortunately does not come around often, as her albums have come sparingly, released in 2008, 2011, and 2015. Her albums are named after the age at which she released them – 19, 21, and 25. Each details love, loss, maturity, and struggles.
One struggle that Adele is currently facing is her divorce from her husband of five years, Simon Konecki. The two share a child, Angelo Adkins. Adele is a loving, devoted mother, sharing custody of Angelo with her ex-husband.
After reflecting on her life choices and family dynamic, Adele channeled her emotions into her songwriting. On November 19, she is set to put out her most emotionally vulnerable album yet – 30. She explained in an interview with Vogue that the album will “explain the divorce” and why she “voluntarily decided to dismantle his entire life” to chase her own happiness.
Fans are looking forward to 30 after seeking new music from Adele for years. After all, the singer has accumulated hundreds of millions of sales on her first three albums.
On October 15, 2021, Adele released the first single of her new album, titled Easy On Me. Accompanied by beautiful piano melodies, Adele uses her smooth, flawless voice to express her thoughts surrounding her divorce. She sings, “You can’t deny how hard I have tried, I changed who I was to put you both first, but now I give up”
Adele recently conducted a 73 Questions interview with Vogue, which racked up over 12 million views. She is also set to appear on CBS on November 14, where she will undoubtedly increase the excitement for her new music. If the new album contains more songs like Easy On Me, there is plenty for fans to be excited for!
