Come support Black Hawk Fever
Come support the BHHS Varsity Boys Basketball team February 17th in their most hyped up game thus far. Tip off vs. Rochester Adams is at 7 p.m, but there will be many activities before the game.
This night is also known as BlackHawk Fever. A lot of preparation by the basketball program has went into this exciting event. T-shirts have been made and are being sold for $20 each.
This game will surely rank first in attendance. The Freshman, JV, and varsity boys basketball teams traveled to WHMS, EHMS, and BHMS to promote the upcoming game.
Besides the game, there is a plethora of action to keep fans entertained and excited. This includes a VIP dinner available to the first 100 elementary/middle school families who register to the game, where the players will volunteer serving dinner and concessions.
On top of this, there will be a pregame pep rally an hour prior to the game open to fans. And at halftime the Detroit Piston’s flight crew will be performing their insane dunks at halftime.
So come participate in this action-packed thriller to cheer on your Blackhawks basketball team to a win!

Hi I’m Zane from Miss. Hammitt’s class. I’m excited for Black Hawk fever this year. This article does a good job describing the event in detail and giving students the incentive to come support the Varsity Basketball Team

As a member of the JV basketball team I participated as a volunteer in this special event. The Blackhawk Fever was a huge success, seeing hundreds of families come out to support the program and enjoy food and festivities was awesome. Our community defiantly took a step forward hosting this event, I look forward to it next year.
