254 million tons of trash was generated by Americans in 2013, according to the Keep America Beautiful campaign. The campaigns’ goals are to increase recycling rates, that is currently at 35%, which is entirely too low. Keep America Beautiful also wants to reduce waste, save on energy, and conserve natural resources. Please help conserve our world by recycling more and bringing down the tons of trash that are accumulated.
