Analyzing the race hill

With the ski season wrapping up, comes a perfect time to analyze the results of the 2016-2017 Bloomfield Hills Ski Team. The season lasted from November to March, and the ski team consisted of 33 members, coached by Rob Brown. The ski team regularly practices and races at Pine Knob Ski Resort, though the team has also gone to Mount Holly and Nubs Nob for additional training and races. Normal practices last from 4:00 to 5:30, though on days of races, time is normally extended. The ski team consists of 2 primary teams, Varsity and Junior Varsity, most commonly, Varsity racers will ski Slalom, and Junior Varsity racers will ski Giant Slalom. “I’m excited to join the ski team next year, I’m looking forward to joining my sister and meeting new people.” said 8th grader Hunter Halstead, at West Hills Middle School.
