On Wednesday October 16th, Bloomfield Hills High School went into a shelter in place at 12:45pm. As some students were at lunch, an announcement was made for all students to clear the hallways and go to their 5th hour classroom. Bloomfield Township Police, responding to an anonymous tip, arrived at the high school to determine the credibility of the threat. After a thorough search of the building the threat was not deemed to be credible. After roughly an hour of sheltering in place, administration released students for an early dismissal. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
