Road Work Ahead: Long Lake Rd. closed near BHHS
Construction has begun on Long Lake Road, west of Franklin Road. The road closure affects students, staff, and families traveling to and from Bloomfield Hills High School, Way Elementary, and Lone Pine Elementary.
The road closure is to allow for a replacement sewage system to be implemented alongside Long Lake Road near Kirk in the Hills. The project is expected to extend into November while the sewage line is being replaced.
Students and parents driving to Bloomfield Hills High School may need to adjust their usual route. BHHS is accessible via Telegraph Road or Long Lake Road east of Franklin Road.Â

Worst timing possible for this project! It should’ve been started 2 months ago during summer recess and be done before the school started. Poor planning!
