Updated Heisman Trophy Odds Following Week 3

The college football season is off to quite the start this year. There have been some major headlines such as Notre Dame’s abysmal start to the Marcus Freeman era, FCS schools like Appalachian State and Georgia Southern getting paid over a million dollars by Power 5 schools just to take them down, and the firing of Nebraska head coach Scott Frost.

Through these first three weeks of the college football season, there have already been a handful of players who have separated themselves as legitimate candidates for the Heisman Trophy. While there are still a few weeks for some players who are not in the conversation to prove themselves, these guys are the players who have shown that they have the ability to win the trophy (in order of odds according to Caesars Sportsbook):

1.CJ Stroud, QB, Ohio State (+275)

10.Blake Corum, RB, Michigan (+5000)

Inevitably, this list will change as the season progresses, but many of the guys on this list will still likely be in the conversation. Additionally, there will be some new guys that make their appearances, but time is running out for players that are not already in the conversation. The Heisman Trophy race is always an interesting storyline to follow throughout the college football season.
