Meet your 2025 Division 1 Girls Volleyball State Runners Up!
On Saturday, November 22, The Black Hawks capped off the most successful season in the school’s history as they competed in the division 1 state final game at Kellogg Arena. The team defeated number 4 ranked Marian High School in the district finals and number 1 ranked Rockford High School in the state semifinals. They won leagues, districts, regionals, the state quarterfinals, the state semifinals, and came up just short of a state championship to Farmington Hills Mercy High School.
The girls never stopped fighting and won the third set after being down 2-11 in the set, but ultimately Mercy HS took the championship with an overall score of 3-1.
This historic team has so much to be proud of and lots to look forward to for next season! Congratulations, Black Hawks!
